There’s no denying it is officially autumn and while some feel a loss of the long summer days and warm nights, many happily embrace the new season! Fall gives us the chance to slow down before the winter holidays ramp up; enjoy seasonal drinks, cozy sweaters and perfect temperatures, fall always reminds us of how naturally beautiful Southwestern Ontario is.
At EdgeWater Estates all appears quiet. Local residents love fall in Kilworth. The snow-white swans move elegantly across the Provincial Park lake, sharing space with Canada geese whose numbers dwindle daily as they head to warmer climates. The shy deer duck into the forest but we know they are there, revealed through the varying hoof prints on our EdgeWater trails.
The shadows are longer, cast by the tall Carolinian forest that provides the thick fringe of trees that separate the Thames River and EdgeWater Estates. The air is crisp, the landscape is colourful and the serenity of the leaves rustling in the wind makes you sigh.
Our Private EdgeWater Estates tours are received with oohs and ahhs as future residents take in the 46 acres of dedicated trails and parkland.
The beautiful Thames River dances in front of us, as our attention is then drawn across the River to the vast Provincial park which continues westward.
Depending on the time of day you schedule your tour, the sun will be moving from the eastern sky to our western exposure; EdgeWater Estates provides a perfect almost 180 degree vantage point.
